Based on customer feedback, we have made some changes to the Business Impact feature within our Forecaster tool.
What's Changed
We have separated the Enhesa Business Impact Ranking from the field that customers use to set their impact. This change has enabled us to create two distinct filters and a dedicated customer input field for setting their business impact, allowing customers to better manage their workflows.
1. Enhesa Overall Ranking Filter
2. Business Impact Filter
Backwards Compatibility
All prior Saved Filters that relied on an "Impact" field have now been mapped to the "Enhesa Overall Ranking" value.
More information on Enhesa's Impact Assessment Methodology provided here: https://support.enhesa.com/hc/en-us/articles/41312634616212-Impact-Rankings
We have also migrated all previous customer responses from the "Impact" dropdown to maintain their value. It's important to note that the "no impact" option is no longer available, as this often falls under "not applicable" or "low." For migration purposes, any previous answers of "No Impact" have been mapped to "Low" to prevent any confusion about applicability. Customers can easily change any prior answer.
The new Business Impact dropdown offers more options, including the ability to designate a regulatory development as Not Applicable or to add an additional Tier setting.
The Tier values are optional and can reflect whatever your company wants them to represent internally. For example, they could indicate routing within the company structure (1 = parent or corporate, 2 = operating company, 3 = facility or site). We will add these fields to export files in an upcoming release.
The default business impact value for all new developments, or for any prior developments where no customer input was set, will be "Undetermined".
With this release, we have also introduced an Action Tracker chart that tracks the count of developments in your view and provides a breakout of how your organization has assessed the impact of those items. This dynamic chart allows you to filter and drill down to see the breakdown with different groupings of forecasts (e.g., jurisdictions, topics, etc.) or track monitoring performance over time.
More to Come
Finally, the Business Impact field will be accompanied by a Review Status field and Action Tracker chart, which will further enable organizations to evaluate monitoring processes and establish controls to ensure regulatory developments are processed efficiently across the organization.
